Migration guide

Migrate DeepSeek Harness TUI to Martty

Move from deepseek-harness-tui, dsh-tui, or the old scoped npm package to Martty without migrating configuration or durable session data.

What changed?

The project formerly presented as DeepSeek Harness TUI is now named Martty. The recommended npm package and command are both martty. This is a brand and package migration, not a rewrite of the runtime or session format.

Update an existing DSH profile

dsh plugin --profile tui remove @openma/deepseek-harness-tui
dsh plugin --profile martty add martty@latest
dsh --profile martty

The recommended profile name is now martty. Existing configuration and JSONL session data do not need conversion. The legacy tui profile and dsh-tui executable remain compatibility paths.

Update standalone installations

npm uninstall --global @openma/deepseek-harness-tui
npm install --global martty
martty

Compatibility summary

  • martty is the preferred npm package and CLI command.
  • @openma/deepseek-harness-tui remains a compatibility package.
  • dsh-tui remains a compatibility executable alias.
  • The GitHub repository is openma-ai/Martty.
  • The official website is martty.sh.

New directory listings, articles, and integrations should use the name Martty. Mention the former name only when explaining migration or preserving an existing reference.
